My Story
My initial why to joining Scentsy was to help me get through my recovery period from being in the hospital for 3 months, from a tragic life changing car accident I encountered. Before I was up and about, I was stuck in bed and would get so depressed, but Scentsy helped me pull through. Now I am up and walking around and enjoying life. I’m not at 100% but I can do most things alone now. My God has been by my side the entire time. Read more about my initial story below. God bless you.
My name is ilia, I am 31 years old and have been in Lampasas my whole life. Im only here on this earth due to Gods will. I had a car accident back in February 2020; two street racers were racing and hit us; me, my bf, and our kids were all involved. I was in coma for 2 months. I was able to come home in May and now I am still recovering. I am receiving physical therapy twice a week, I am learning how to walk again. I have a plate in my neck holding my spinal cord in place, a rod in my waist and I had a tramautic brain injury that has caused the right side of my body to lose movement. I would love to be back on my feet to be a dental assistant again one day but for now I have decided to take on this journey of selling Scentsy to help me and my family out. I have three little girls that need my support and I have faith that I will fully recover one day, meanwhile I am using what I can move to enjoy life, and have fun selling this amazing smelling stuff. I truly am a living miracle!
